Matthew Sincock

At the age of 19, Matthew Sincock began studying Yoga and Remedial Massage to overcome an illness.

His initial training involved trekking deep through the wilderness for a week at a time with nothing more than a yoga mat and a backpack of macrobiotic food!

It is during these treks he studied Yoga, Shiatsu, Qi-Gong, Martial Arts, Acupuncture and Food As Medicine, under a Japanese trained teacher. Later Matthew went to complete formal studies in Remedial Massage, Zen Shiatsu, Acupuncture and Yoga.

Now Matthew specialises in treating chronic and stubborn conditions, which have not responded to other treatment modalities. He also runs a Community Acupuncture and Shiatsu clinic in Bellingen (since 2010), as well as teaching Zen Shiatsu and Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Eastern Medicine (Bellingen), where he is the Principal.

Matthew also teaches Yoga classes, various workshops and retreats throughout the year (please check this website for further details).

His favourite quote is from Shizuto Masunaga:
Life itself is the cure to disease
